About Us Columbia Imaging was founded in August 1991 as Columbia Diagnostic Imaging by John Holsey and Wayne Horsman. The "Diagnostic" was dropped in 1998 to avoid confusion with two local companies. • The focus of the company is to provide quality service & sales of medical diagnostic imaging equipment for hospitals, imaging centers and private practice physicians. • The present region of operations is Maryland, Virginia, District of Columbia, Pennsylvania, Delaware, and West Virginia . Services outside our area are provided by independent affiliates. • Most brands of equipment are supported, with an emphasis on Siemens, Philips, and Shimadzu x-ray equipment. • The company specializes in digital cardiac cath, vascular, and mobile fluoro c-ram imaging systems, but support of other equipment is achieved with a network of expert affiliates in other modalities such as nuclear medicine and solutions service. • Savings are passed on to the customer by a variety of enhancements: quality pre-owned systems, reduced labor rates, competitively priced and customized service contracts and alternate sourcing of parts. Utilizing only highly trained, experienced service engineers reduces labor costs and down-time. Many times an expensive part can be repaired instead of replaced. The highest level of quality is maintained by keeping the factory trained service engineers in touch with their customers using: digital cell phones, office staff and an after hours voice mail system. State of the art test equipment is carried by each engineer to avoid waiting while shared equipment is ferried back and forth.
